WE ARE EXACTLY A MONTH AWAY FROM “WALK TO END FGM”

Today marks exactly one month from when we will stand together on the Washington National Mall to tell the world that there is no place for the practice of FGM.  We invite you to be a part of this memorable event.  Register at www.globalwomanpeacefoundation.org and select the pink “Register to Walk” button.  Ms. Arifa Nasim will travel from London to Washington to stand with us.  Arifa, the Founder of Educate2Eradicate has represented the youth at the U.N., and she trains school teachers on how to spot harmful practices.  Arifa is the recipient of the Advocacy Award from Global Woman P.E.A.C.E. Foundation this year.  Won’t you join us?    

 

When:  Saturday, October 21, 2017

Itinerary: Assemble at 11:00am; pre-walk program at 12:00noon; walk starts at 1:30pm

  • Register as an individual participant
  • Register as a virtual participant and help raise funds (if you are unable to attend)
  • Sponsor a team or an individual participant or sponsor the event
  • Be a Partner Organization with Global Woman P.E.A.C.E. Foundation in the Walk to End FGM
