The January topic this Saturday is The Role Physical Therapy Plays in the Healing of FGM
The Facilitators this month are Marie Jeffsell and Lauren Wohl.
Marie Jeffsell has been a Physical Therapist for almost 25 years. She was born and raised in Sweden, and did her basic training as a Physical Therapist at the University of Lund. She has lived and worked in 5 different countries, including the United States, and has done continuing education in physical therapy in Canada, Australia and the United States.
Lauren Wohl, DPT, OCS, WCS, is a Physical Therapist who specializes in the treatment of painful sex, incontinence, and other pelvic floor conditions. She ascribes to a holistic view of treatment, and is excited to join Global Woman P.E.A.C.E. Foundation in helping spread awareness and knowledge by offering support to this community.
