WE ARE AT 22 DAYS FROM the #WALK2ENDFGM

The countdown continues with only 22 days before we will all gather in Washington, D.C. on the Washington National Mall to walk together for the 5th year against FGM.  We invite you to be a part of this memorable event.  Register at www.globalwomanpeacefoundation.org, select the pink “Register to Walk” button, and be a part our 5th year of #walk2endfgm.  This year we have the largest international attendance in 5 years.  Dr. Mawaheb El-Mouelhy, who conducted an investigation on women’s sexuality in relation to FGM, is traveling from Egypt.  Hazel Barrett, an internationally recognized expert on FGM is expected from the U.K.  Adriana Kaplan, a medical anthropologist from Barcelona, Spain will be joining us this month, to name only a few.
