Black introduced a special FGM bill in February to the Virginia General Assembly to criminalize the practice of FGM in Virginia. He was vigilant and instrumental in getting the bill passed, and today the practice of FGM is a criminal offense in Virginia. Senator Black is our Keynote Speaker at this year’s walk-A-thon.
