WE ARE AT 15 DAYS FROM the #WALK2ENDFGM

We can no longer say, “Next Month” for the 2-day October event.  We are now in the long-anticipated month of October. So we continue the countdown to the 18th and 19th with only 15 days to the 6th #walk2endfgm.   Register at www.globalwomanpeacefoundation.org, select the pink “Register to Walk” button, and be a part of this memorable event.

If you are wondering why you should register, donate or support this event, here is what F.A. Cole had to say:  “I have benefited greatly from the services provided by Global Woman P.E.A.C.E. Foundation. Not only have I received an award from this outstanding organization for my activism work against female genital mutilation, I have been privileged to volunteer at one of their Walks and just 2 years ago, they sponsored me to have the restorative surgery – the first woman they have sponsored for the surgery.  At age eleven, (34 years ago) I forcibly underwent FGM and through divine connection, Ms. Angela Peabody and I met, and it has been like a mother-daughter relationship since. Ms. Angela truly cares for and about the survivors of FGM, and her organization has been a blessing, not just to me but many like me.  If it had not been for her, Global Woman P.E.A.C.E Foundation and their donors, I would not have been #ReUNITeD with my hooha.  That said, I would like to say a huge ‘Thank You’ to Global Woman P.E.A.C.E Foundation and their donors for the wonderful work they do. I hope God richly blesses them.”

Please help support us so there can be many more women like F.A. Cole.  Would you join us and support us?
