Here we are, only 4 days away from Saturday, October 21st. After 12 months of planning, we are at 4 days from our 5K Walk. It is still not too late to register. You will only receive 3 more of these reminders before Walk-Day. Be a part of this special event.
Weather Update: According to Accuweather forecast, high temperature 77 and low 54, partly sunny. We will continue to update the forecast every day leading up to Walk-Day.
Fundraising Update: The competition among the teams has tightened up. Team “Arifa Nasim” has taken 1st place, leaving Team “Tobe Levin Von” in 2nd place, while Team “NOVA BP” has moved up in 3rd place, leaving Team “Peabody Against FGM” in 4th place, with Team “Let’s Get Rid Of FGM” running in 5th place. Team leaders, please visit the site and check to see how your team is doing and if you have already reached your goal or have a ribbon. 3 top prizes will be awarded this year to the 3 top teams. There will be 3 consolation runner-up prizes for teams ending in 4th 5th and 6th places. To date, we have raised 61% of our goal. Please help us reach 100% of our goal. There is still time – you can do it. Let’s go teams!

Proceeds: The proceeds raised from the Walk To End FGM are used to support the restorative surgeries of survivors of FGM, including group and one-on-one counseling.
